Cloud Age Symphony

I've finished watching this anime today. Well, It's such a gloomy in the ending. Some of my favourite characters were died in the war. But the ending is good. So I decide to post this song here now.

It's dominate by house music, I guess. First time you hear this, maybe you'll feel this song is weird. But if you hear it more and more, you'll find this song is quite good enough.

I've post the ED song from this anime some weeks ago. The song's title is "Over The Sky". Just search it in this blog if you want to hear it. OK, that's all! See ya next time !

No Regret by Koda Kumi

It's a song from Kumi Koda: No Regret. It's an ED from The Law Of Ueki.

It's an unique mixing, this music is blend together proportionally with The Law of Ueki's atmosphere. BTW, this video is cool, isn't it? Actually I've found such of this video in Youtube, but the uploader restrict it to embed in other site. Too bad.

And this is the lyrics from J-popasia:

Yuzure nai no dare nimo
Kono omoi dake wa
Unmei sae koete yukeru nara

Tsumetai tokai no katasumi ni hitori
Ibasho mo naku tada zutto samayoutteta
Kiduite hoshikute sakebi tsuduketeta
Watashi no koe wa yami ni kaki kesareta

Itsuwari bakari no
Kono sekai de kimi dake wa
Hontou no watashi wo mite hoshii

*Yuzure nai no
Dare ni mo kono omoi dake wa
Unmei sae koete yukeru nara
Nido to ko nai
Kono shunkan ni koukai wa shinai you ni
Kakushi wa shinaide
Subete no chikara wo ima kimi ni
Toki hanate!

Hate naku tsuduiteku kunou ni make sou de
Kurushii toki demo kimi wa hitori ja nai
Donna ni tsurakute nigedashi takute mo
Sono saki ni aru asu he to tachiagare!

Wasure naide ite
Jibun wo shinjiru koto wo
Shinjitsu wa itsudatte hitotsu dake

Owari no nai
Kanashimi no sekai da toshitemo
Ari no mama no watashi de ayumi dasu
Sakara wazu ni kono mama unmei ni yudanete
Tadori tsuita sono saki de kitto
Hontou no jibun ni deaeru to
Negatteru

*Repeat

And here is the translation from the same site:

I won’t surrender this feeling
not to anyone
Even if it’s fate, I’ll get past this

I stand alone, on a corner in a cold city
but it’s not where I belong, so I simply keep on wandering
I keep on crying out, for someone to notice be
but my voice just fades into the darkness

It this world
is nothing but a lie
then please let me see the real me

*I won’t surrender this feeling
not to anyone
Even if it’s fate, I’ll get past this
At this very moment
I will have no regrets, not again
I’m not going to hide
So I let go of all my strength
and send it to you!

If you’re endlessly tormented by defeat,
when you’re in pain, even then, you’re not alone
No matter how painful it is, you can always run away
And then you can rise up, and head towards the future!

Never forget
to believe in yourself
because truth, comes down to just one thing

Assuming that there’s no end
to the sadness of the world
I’ll just walk on, knowing my true self
I let myself be guided by fate instead of opposing it
And when I arrive at my desitination
I hope to meet
the real me
*Repeat

OK! That's all! See you next time !

Kohaku no Yurikago

It's an first ED song from RAVE the animation. It performs by Yonekura Chihiro, the same artist who perform Butterfly Kiss (the first OP song of RAVE the animation). I don't get the full video, so I just take the TV size. Here is the video:

Even it's only a TV size, I think it's not reduce the quality of this song. If you want to DL it, just go to Gendou.com.
Her voice is still clear, smooth, and gentle. Like it would swing you in a cradle, and make you feel so comfort. I like this song. And honestly, I miss this video. It's one of my favourite anime ED video.

And this is the lyrics from Animelyrics.com:

Tsuki no shita de Sanagi ni natte kuchizuketa garasu no ai no umi
Nami no youna Anata no rizumu idakarete Utau kotoba

-live-Watashi wo kanjite My past Minamo ni kieru yo
Shinjirareru Mono wa subete anato to mitsuketakara

*You're wings on my heart Kono negai haruka na yume no Shijima ni tokete
Nani mo nai Tada anata to tadayou kuni he Aoitori douka Michibiite
Chiisana Sora ga naita

Toumei no ame kawaita te wo atatameta kowagaranaideii?
chigireta kumo todokanai koe kokoniite fureteitaino

-lips- Anata wo kanjite My spell mitasareteyukuyo
Owari no asa hai ni natte watashi ga kietatoshitemo

You're wings on my heart kono omoi Harukana yume no namimani yureteru
Kawaranai tada anata wo Aiseru kuni he Aoitori douka Michibiite
Chiisana niji ga naita

Ameiro no shizuku abite kanashimi no ito hodoketeku

REPEAT *

And here is the translated version:
Under the moon, I became a chrysalis, kissed upon a glass sea of love
Your rhythm is like a wave, embraced by the words of its song

-live- to feel me, my past, disappears on the water's surface
Everything I believed in, I found with you, so...

* You're wings on my heart, this wish, a distant dream that melts in a desolate isle
Nothing else, just with you in a drifting country, bluebird please lead me...
Toward the small sky that weeps

The transparent rain, the warmth of a drying hands, is nothing to be afraid of right?
Scattering clouds, a voice left unheard, painfully screams, "I'm right here!"

lips- to feel you, my spell, comes to it's fruition
In the final morning, like ash, I will disappear, but even so...

You're wings on my heart, this feeling, a distant dream that sways between the waves
Unchanging, just you to a loving country, bluebird please lead me...
Toward the small rainbow that weeps

Bathing in amber-colored drops, the sorrowful knot has unravelled

REPEAT *

Well, I think this song is about yearning. Some girl who yearn her love, but I think it's more than that. I feel she's so lonely. And she cried in her loneliness. But she feel strong when she remember her love. Quite good song. It's fit with the video.

OK! That's all. See you next time!

Kangen Band

Kangen Band! Lagunya kalau tidak salah "Kembali Pulang". Ini videonya (sepertinya fanmade):

Cuma diambil sekenanya, nggak diuji dulu. Maklum, komputer yang dipake nggak punya speaker same sekali. Gomen :)

OK, segini untuk sekarang. MAkasih buat yang menyempatkan diri membaca postingan ini. See ya!

River by Tatsuya Ishii

One of Gundam Seed's ED OST. Exactly the 2nd ED. It peformed by Tatsuya Ishii in a little bit Latin music influence (maybe). This song tells about how love can give someone a strength. He was surrendered by his condition, but love gave him chance to go back and walking for more he could. It's connect to the Gundam Seed's story. If you want to see this song's lyrics, just go to here.

Ok, that's all. Thanks and see you next time !

Rie Fu: "Life is A Boat"

-

Every Bleach's fans must know this! It's the first ending song from Bleach, "Life is Like A Boat". Rie Fu have an unique voice. Her real name is Rie Funakoshi. She has a good English compare to average Japanese. It's because she living in Maryland, USA, when she was 7 years old (1992) until 1995. Her music got influenced by Western 70's pop musician. That's why her music little bit different from another J-Pop artists.

Ok, tht's enough for the performer. If you want to know about her, just go to wikipedia. As usual, I give you the lyrics:

Nobody knows who I really am
I never felt this empty before
And if I ever need someone to come along,
Who's gonna comfort me, and keep me strong?

We are all rowing the boat of fate
The waves keep on coming and we can't escape
But if we ever get lost on our way
The waves would guide you through another day

dooku de iki o shiteru toomei ni natta mitai
kudayami ni omoe dakedo mekaku shisarete tadake

inori o sasagete atarashii hi o matsu
asayaka ni hikaru umi sono hate made

Nobody knows who I really am
Maybe they just don't give a damn
But if I ever need someone to come along
I know you would follow me, and keep me strong

hito no kokoro wa utsuriyuku mukedashiteku naru
tsuki wa mada atarashii shuuki de mune o tsureteku

And every time I see your face
The ocean heaves up to my heart
You make me wanna strain at the oars, and soon
I can see the shore
Oh, I can see the shore
When will I see the shore?

I want you to know who I really am
I never thought I'd feel this way towards you
And if you ever need someone to come along,
I will follow you, and keep you strong

tabi wa mada tsuzuiteku odayakana hi mo
tsuki wa mata atarashii shuuki de ume o terashidasu

inori o sasagete atarashii hi o matsu
asayaka ni hikaru umi sono hate made

And every time I see your face
The ocean heaves up to my heart
You make me wanna strain at the oars, and soon
I can see the shore

Unmei no huneoko gi nami wa tsugi kara tsuki e to watashi-tachi o sou kedo
Sore mo suteki na tabi ne, dore mo suteki na tabi ne

That's the lyrics, as usual from Animelyrics.

Good song. It's true, life is just aboat. When we trap in the middle of storm, that's so wonderful is there's someone with us who can give us a strength to hold on. The last sentences is the best part of this song. In English, this sentences are like this:

We are rowing the boat of fate, but the waves keep attacking us
But isn't that still a wonderful journey? Aren't any of them a wonderful journey

Even the problems attacking us, when we're not alone, we can face it all. If we can't face it by ourself, we need someone to help us. That's the life. Because there's no one boat can sailing better with only one man.

The music is slow, just like britpop, I guess. But that's the unique thing from Rie Fu's songs.

Ok, that's all for today. See you next time.

Distance love by Ayumi Hamasaki

ayumi hamasaki - Distance love CM
Uploaded by kumi_chan

This is a song from Ayumi Hamasaki. The Japanese title is Kyo Ai. I got this video from dailymotion. I didn't got it in youtube. Actually, this video is only 30% from the full length video. The full version is more like a movie than a music video. The story is about an artist (Ayumi) who get fall in love with her bodyguard. And so the bodyguard. They love each other, but the bodyguard looks like restrain himself. Maybe because he consider her status. But at last they can be together, because the girl give him her love. She convince him that she is still a girl who need love. There is no problem with them, even they have different status (artist an bodyguard). At last, the bodyguard take his courage to propose her to marriage. But some premonition happen. The glass that she use in her press conference is broken. That's a premonition about her boyfriend.

The next scene, Ayumi with bride's gown running in the street. An ambulance passing her when she running. She stop a while to see it, and start running again. In the middle of her way, she looking at the street. She looking a motorcycle that has been crushed. Soon, she recognise that it's the bodyguard's motorcycle. She look at it, and start to crying. She look at the street and see a ring box. And that is the end of the video.

There is two main stage in this song video. The first about the artist and the bodyguard, and how they being a lover. The music in this stage is more cheerful. The second stage is when Ayumi using bride's gown running on the street. This time, the music become sad. That's why I say this song is more like movie than music video.

If you lucky, you can find the full length video in internet. I've seen it yesterday. I've a bonus cd from Animonster, an animanga magazine in my country. And I saw this video. It's so long video, I almost stop in the middle because boring. But I still continue it. And here is. I make its review.

OK, that's all for today. See you later.

If everyone's hands handle one of music instrument, I believe
there's no war in this world....
Because there's no hands can handle a weapon
to fight another one.
That's why I love music....
Because it's universal
and peaceful.
